Restart, 再始動

 ものすごく久しぶりにBloggerを再開しました。

It’s been an incredibly long time since I last updated my Blogger.

30代半ばで会社を辞め、大学院の修士課程に進学し、また社会に戻りました。そして2024年3月15日の夜、母が自宅で転倒して骨折してしまいました。その頃、母による父の介護は限界に近いと感じていたこともあり、思い切って私の自宅近くにマンションを借りる決断をしました。

In my mid-30s, I quit my job, entered a master’s program at graduate school, and then re-entered the workforce. On the night of March 15, 2024, my mother fell at home and fractured a bone. At that time, I already felt that my mother’s caregiving for my father was reaching its limit. So, I made the bold decision to rent an apartment near my home.

それから8か月後の今日、母は再び実家へ戻りました。大きく変わったことと言えば、私の転職先です。父の入院先の病院から近い方が良いと思い、転職を決意しました。新しい職場はドイツに本社を持つ外資系企業で、もちろん実家にも近い場所にあります。

Eight months have passed since then, and today, my mother has returned to her home. One significant change during this time has been my new job. I decided to change jobs to be closer to the hospital where my father is admitted. My new workplace is a German-based foreign company, conveniently located near my parents' home.

次の目標は、仕事に励みながら親孝行をすること。
さて、頑張りますよ(^ ^)

My next goal is to work hard at my job while also being a devoted daughter.
