RULES FOR PATRONS: All patrons are required to comply with the following rules (Municipal Ordinance PL-OsD 9.9-4; Subsection 3a)
# Food and drink on library premises must remain in closed, sealed containers, and must not be consumed on the premises at any time, except in the lounge.
# Use of the study area is only for those wishing to study. Space is limited, so people found not studying may be asked to leave in order to allow someone else to study.
# All patrons are requested to remain courteous and quiet. Any patron deemed disruptive by library staff of security personnel is legally required to leave the premises when asked to do so.
# The following daily penalties will be charged for all late items (payable in cash or by credit card - no personal checks ).
Children's books; $0.05 per item
Ordinary books/magazines; $0.10 per item
Video tapes / DVD's; $0.15 per item
Audio cassette tapes / CD's $0.15 per item
# Patrons will be billed for lost items at the full value as marked on the back cover or packaging.
# Patrons owing a total of $20.00 or more in fines and/ or penalties will be referred to the library's collection agency.

●図書館構内では、飲食物はふたをした密閉容器に入れたままにしてください。また、ラウンジを除き、構内は常に飲食禁止です。
●学習エリアは勉強する人たち専用の場所です。スペースが限られていますから、勉強をしていないと判明した人は、ほかの人が勉強できるよう、移動してもらうことがあります。
●どの利用者もマナーを守って静かにしてください。図書館員または保安員に秩序を乱すと判断された利用者は、要請を受けたら構内から退去することが法的に義務付けられています。
●全延滞品には以下の罰金が１日ごとに科せられます
（現金またはクレジットカード払い可。個人小切手は不可）。
児童書：１点につき５セント
通常書籍／雑誌：１点につき10セント
ビデオテープ／ DVD：１点につき15セント
オーディオカセットテープ／ CD：１点につき15セント
●品物を紛失した利用者は、裏表紙またはパッケージに記載された価格全額を請求されます。
●未払いの罰金類が合計20ドル以上となった利用者は、図書館の集金代行業者に通報されます。
